Remembering Our Resonance

I created Living Resonance from a deep desire to bring the extraordinary handcrafted instruments of the Deutz Klangwerkstatt, in the integrity of their original form and intention, to North America — and to place them into the hands of people and communities who truly understand that sound can reach places words sometimes cannot.

I imagine them accompanying sound practitioners and healing circles, meditation and prayer gatherings, spiritual communities and retreats. I hope they will also find their way into hospices and supportive care settings, into hospitals and therapeutic environments — wherever gentle sound and vibration may offer presence, comfort and connection: with babies and elders, with those nearing the end of life, and with people whose bodies or nervous systems have been profoundly affected by illness, coma or brain injury.

Perhaps this longing is especially close to my heart because my own journey has taught me that healing is not always about doing more. Sometimes it begins with becoming quiet enough to listen — and allowing the body to encounter something gentle, coherent and beautiful to remember its essence.

I don't believe we can command healing. But I do know that we can create spaces in which the body is invited to soften, to listen, to feel — and perhaps, in its own mysterious way, to remember its resonance and heal.

Ultimately, Living Resonance is an invitation to remember something very simple:
We are not separate from the greater harmony of life. We are part of its song singing us back into Wholeness.

My personal healing journey with the Tambura

Traveling and living between continents inspired my work to help meaningful ideas travel between worlds without losing their soul.

Living Resonance is one of those bridges… Between my native Germany and North America. Between ancient wisdom and contemporary life. Between craftsmanship and healing arts. Between sound and silence. Between the individual and the whole.

In 2024, a serious car accident and traumatic brain injury changed the course of my entire life. Recovery asked me to become still, to listen differently, and to discover new ways of meeting my body, my mind, and develop a deeper consciousness.

When I encountered the Body Tambura®, something profound happened. Its sound was not simply something I heard — I felt it moving through me. In its vibration, resonance and extraordinary stillness, I found a powerful companion to my healing journey.

Over time, I experienced myself and my brain returning not simply to its brilliance, but to a life with a deeper sense of presence, clarity and connection while my nervous system experienced true peace and harmony with all life.

I knew then that these beautiful instruments could help so many people and my passion turned into a vocation to serve.

Living Resonance was born from the desire to bring these extraordinary instruments into the world — so that others, too, might have the opportunity to encounter what can happen when sound is no longer only heard, but felt. Because some things cannot be explained. They have to be experienced.

A passionate musician, I love singing and my own musical instruments - piano, guitar, violin, harp, flute, drums… I always felt I didn’t belong to one single instrument or one single culture but that I was born to build resonant bridges between the world of music.

The Oneness, the true Wholeness that I felt since a child, led me to over 30 years of searching true resonance. I ended up connecting all the different experiences in my life to realize that they were all teaching me the same thing: life is a path of resonance and we ALL are its unique instruments.

Beyond the resonance of sound, these instruments teach us the silent unmistakable moment we all know when something finally clicks and comes into what I call True Resonance — within the body, between people, at work, through music, or in the quiet recognition that we ALL belong to something greater than ourselves.

This is your invitation to experience True Resonance — and a return to Wholeness.

Welcome to Living Resonance

Come listen. Come feel. Come remember.
